Our 1997 3.8L V6 'Lazer Red' is an example of what you can do with a totally stock daily driver and grocery getter. This is Lazer Red 2000; the latest addition to the CHiP’S V6 Mustang Corral.

Sadly Lazer Red (1997 version) was totaled by me in a wild 360 degree high-speed spin out. I thought I was clear of traffic in the lane to the left of me, I was not... it was my fault. Happily the spirit of Lazer Red lives on in other Mustangs across the nation as an organ donor! Stay tuned as we continue to salvage parts for Lazer Red 2000. In this photo you can see the repaired 2003 Cobra rims and new fat tires (I flat spotted the other set).

We will be documenting the various performance modifications and upgrades we complete our newest V6 Mustang over the winter months in Texas. Photo taken at my home-away-from-home the Veterans Memorial Air Park (VMAP) located at Meacham Field not far from our home in Fort Worth, Texas. I am a member and volunteer at VMAP where I can be found on most Saturday mornings helping with aircraft restoration and upkeep when our schedule permits.
